Welcome to the relaunched ‘Life on Tiree’. For the first 9 years of our life on the island we posted to a blog which we called ‘Life On Tiree’. It started out as explanation of what is was like for us to live on Tiree but in many ways it became so much more. Many of our followers expressed appreciation of the photographs which accompanied the text. During the Covid 19 Pandemic and especially during ‘lockdown’ we did not travel around the island in the same way as we had previously done. After 9 years we therefore took the decision to close the blog.
Life on Tiree has been reborn on this the 10th Anniversary of our coming to live on the island. We shall just have to wait and see how the blog develops as somehow we do not manage to criss cross the island as we first did when we moved here.
Living in close proximity to the pier and with a love of ferries it is difficult to visit the pier without taking the camera. You never know what might happen. Then what do you do with the photographs?
